“I like gardening, it’s a place where I find myself when I need to lose myself.”

~Alice Sebold~

Feature Plant:

Pansy!

Bright, happy faces in the garden!

An explosion of colourful, cheery faces in your garden this cold season – the common Pansy has come a long way from thier lineage of the tri-colour viola wildflower!

With a variety of hybrid species available today, these small flowers will grow exceptionally well as the cool weather rolls around,. Best kept in a part shaded position, protected from the heat of the day, your pansies will flower well through winter and into spring!

Don’t forget a good watering once a week and every three weeks with a plant tonic, like Katek Neptune Seaweed Extract and make sure to put down a thick layer of Katek Not Just Mulch too!

Known as representations of thought and remembrance, these flowers and the plant itself have been used in Chinese medicine for centuries due to them containing salicylic acid – found in most modern day aspirins! So they’re not just a pretty face – try your hand at growing these little beauties – beneficial in more ways than one!

Feature Product:

Organic, Poultry Manure Enhanced – Not Just Mulch!

NUTRIENT RICH MULCH

We have a new and exciting product – Not Just Mulch! Not Just Mulch goes above and beyond all other mulch products. It works like a normal mulch to keep weeds under control and conserve soil moisture but because it is poultry manure enhanced, it is also rich in nutrients! A mulch with benefits!!

The added Humates have great benefits for the soil. They improve nutrient holding ability, stimulate beneficial fungi and help reduce nutrient lockup.

  • Boost the soil with organic matter!
  • Keep weeds under control!
  • Enhance plant growth!
  • Conserve Soil moisture!

Great for landscaping, garden beds and around trees. We recommend spreading it around 40mm deep, keeping around 100mm away from the base of any plants.

Available in 55L Bags, Bulk Bags & Loose Bulk on request.

Ray Eather, Marlee, NSW

“My name is Ray I live in the small country town of Marlee in NSW. I grow my own vegetables and I grow and sell seedlings at local markets in surrounding towns like Taree and Wingham.

I discovered Katek Fertilizers when I was searching for organic fertilizers online. I first tried Super Booster on my vegetable seedlings and my vegetable garden. I couldn’t believe the difference it made in such a short time. I really was quite blown away, I have never had such a great crop and harvest. I am always complimented on how healthy and green my seedlings and vegetables are.

After looking at Super Rock on the Katek website I bought some and put Super Rock on some unhealthy plants I had bought from the Nursery on the cheap as they were in poor condition, in particular Roses and some Australian Natives. Within a week there was new growth within 2 weeks the Roses had flower buds on them and eventually big fragrant flowers. The Natives just powered away and are doing great.

I am a true believer in Katek’s products as I have experienced it firsthand. When I sell my seedlings at the Markets, I get asked about what I use on my seedlings and I happily tell people I use Katek Fertilizers.

I recently purchased Rose & Flower Fertilizer granules and 1 Litre of Neptune online and I am very excited about using these products today. My plans are to grow my little seedling business into something for my kids and pass on my love for gardening.

I would like to congratulate and thank Katek on your great products. It would great to see more shops stocking Katek products.”

Thanks for your Support Ray! We like nothing better than to
hear from customers using our products and loving them!
